This is a free service provided by
Humans are Human that can be used to
create language files for iOS and Android.
Some caveats:
- Each item must be written as a single line. This includes array-strings
in Android which should appear something like this:
<string-array name="confirm_array"><item>Yes<item><item>No</item></string-array>
- Really long files may not work. (This hasn't been tested with files over 400 lines.)
- You must click Refresh when returning to this page.
- iOS files should have lines formatted like:
"variableName" = "variable value";
- Files cannot be UTF-16, so you may have to change your iOS file in Xcode by selecting the file and changing the Text Encoding
drop down all the way to the right to UTF-8.
- Comments are fine, but they will not be in the translated files.
- The order of the lines in the files may differ in the translations.
- We know this interface blows. We're lazy. It's part of the reason we wrote this tool.
